Introduction:
This extremely rare Patek Philippe Art Deco watch was purchased from the original family and has not been restored or polished. The dial is original which makes this example in platinum rare. The watch comes with a 9”’line caliber movement, #817504 and case #606785. Measurements: 39.5 x 25 mm with lugs. Measurements 33.5 x 25 mm without lugs.
Date & Paperwork:
The watch was made in 1927 and sold in Geneva in 1929, confirmed with an extract from the archives confirming its date of manufacture and further sale. Additionally, the watch comes with a one year movement guarantee.
Condition Report:
Case: The case is presented in excellent overall condition with a few signs of scratches to the bezel and signs of light polishing in the past,. The surface is presented with a fine bright polish. The case is generally clean and free of any major marks apart from a few hairlines on the case and back. The buckle is presented in the original from 1927, with the long PP signature on the back. similar condition as the case.
Dial: The dial is presented in Good condition with visible signs of normal ageing for a watch from this vintage. The hands are original and the printing is original with the Long hard enamel signature. The minute track also show signs of some wear. The crown is original and in excellent condition.
Movement: Manual wind 18-jewel 9"' caliber. The watch has been serviced and comes with a 1 year movement guarantee
