The watch is fitted with a black dial with rose gold long signature on the dial, rose gold baton hands and rose gold hour indices. The watch is in Excellent original condition with strong deep hallmarks, very strong sharp edges, and very little ware. The watch must have been worn for special occasions only. The watch has its original crown, original dial. The watch is fitted with a Patek Philippe black alligator strap and buckle. The watch is Triple signed, dial, movement and case.

During the Art Deco era, a scattering of imaginative rectangular designs emerged, each accompanied by equally inspired nicknames. One such example is the 1450 "Top Hat". Its distinctive profile and hooded lugs give the impression of a top hat, a fashionable accessory for men around the turn of the century.
The cases were crafted by C. Markowski, recognized by the Poinçon de Maître no. 8, (master's mark" or "hallmark") who was known for producing many of the rectangular case designs that gained popularity in the post-war years. The prominent domed crystal further enhances the watch's unique character.
