Patek Philippe 2405R Calatrava 35mm, with fluted case and turned down lugs, Circa 1948
Introduction: Patek Philippe 2405R Calatrava, with a 18K rose gold case measuring 35mm with very distinctive tripe fluted ribbed turned down lugs. The dial is silvered with baton hands and unique raised gold configuration. The watch is powered with a 12-120 caliber 18-jewel movement # 961304, Case # 421388. The watch is in perfect like new condition with it's original dial with the hard enamel signature. Further, the watch is triple signed, dial, movement and case.
ESSAY: The 2405 was launched in 1945 and discontinued in 1948. The estimated total production is about 125 pieces. With the majority in yellow gold of about 100 examples, and 20-25 in rose gold. The dials were made by Stern Freres.
