: Reference 2458, one of Patek Philippe's largest vintage wristwatches, was launched in 1948. The case has unusual down turned circular ends to the lugs. It was available with two different movements, the first series with caliber 12'''120, and the second with caliber 12'''400. The models were mainly cased in yellow gold, with a few examples in rose gold. According to research, the reference 2458 was produced for a short period of 10 years between 1944 and 1954. Mainly cased in yellow and pink gold with one exception in platinum, this model was the largest Calatrava on offer in the Patek Philippe catalogue
