Essay: This watch is quite rare because it's was made shortly after the Stern family purchased Patek Philippe in 1932. The case was made by Baumgartner SA Key-2. The case is hinged and was made to accept the new 9-90 rectangular movement that was introduced around that time. This example is in exceptionally original condition. It has not been polished or refinished. The case has a hinge back which was typical of the early period. The original glass crystal and the winding crown are the original. The watch has the raised gold Breguet dial and hands. The watch has been serviced and comes with a 1 year guarantee.
