Introduction:
Patek Philippe 548 Early Stainless Steel Rectangular watch, measuring 25 x 36mm. The watch has a silvered dial with raised Roman numbers on 12, 3, 9. and black indexes on the dial. The watch has the long signature with the original hard enamel and on the indexes. The watch is fitted with an 9"'-90 caliber 18-jewel manual wind movement # 836217, Case # 508212. The watch is accompanied with a black leather strap and a beige strap. The watch is further accompanied with an extract from the Archives confirming the date of manufacture in 1943 and further sale in 1944.
Note: The pictures that were taken in daylight came out great. The ones in the light box do not look like the watch. They are for detail.
Condition: The watch is in very good to excellent condition especially considering its age. The dial is original with the soft age of patina to the dial. Also it has some spots that can be visible in the light box, not in natural light. The dial has the long signature in hard enamel, even on the double hash markers as indexes. The crown is original with sharp definitions
