This is my first Patek watch. I chose it because I was looking for a vintage watch and this one, having been owned by the captain of the USS McGowen, had a wonderful history. When I first saw this 453AR, I thought it might be the Patek that I've been looking for, but I wasn't sure. I contacted Marcus to discuss the watch and he talked with me at length about this watch and several others. At the end of those conversations, I knew for certain that I needed to be the next keeper of this watch. I’ve waited nearly 9 months and finally received my watch today! Chose to have a friend based in LA pick up the watch from Marcus and carry it back to Singapore but covid derailed our plans and could only receive it today. It was really worth the wait because the watch is simply amazing. Marcus was super helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process which gave me confidence in making this cross border purchase.

Bought my second Patek, a Ref. 3923 from Marcus today. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. As always, Marcus was a delight to work and converse with. His depth of experience and knowledge in all things Patek is unparalleled. He showed me several vintage pieces that truly caught my eye. I'm sure one of those will be the subject of my third Patek acquisition.

I had been searching for a special watch to gift my fiancé for nearly two years and Marcus was absolutely wonderful in helping find the perfect piece. I needed some help in switching the strap as well as a quick delivery in order to make a last-minute trip and Marcus was thoughtful and reliable throughout. I live in Los Angeles, and until recently, I had no clue that Patek Monger was in my neck of the woods. I’m so glad I discovered them. I had the pleasure of meeting Marcus, the proprietor of Patek Monger, and we discussed the purchase of a fine Patek Calatrava 5026R. He is a pleasure to speak with, a real gentleman, and a storehouse of knowledge and expert on all things Patek. His collection of Patek watches are truly amazing. His pieces are impeccable, in like-new/mint condition, and as good as the photos are, the watches, when held in your hands, are truly something special that no photo can quite capture. I felt like a kid in a candy store, but this was better. Oh yes. His Pateks for sale are of the condition and quality you would expect and desire to purchase from a serious private collector, not from any pre-owned watch store. And I wanted to buy the whole lot but alas my budget allowed for only one. His prices are quite reasonable when one considers the impeccable condition they are in as though they were locked away in a vault for years. In the end, I walked away with that fine Calatrava with a smile on my face. I look forward to acquiring more pieces in the future. Patek Monger has my highest recommendation. Merci Marcus.
