Patek Philippe 2457J Vintage Calatrava Watch Replaced the Ref. 96 with Center Seconds Circa 1957

This 2457J vintage Patek Philippe watch is made in 18K yellow gold features a 27 SC sweep second hand movement and new crocodile strap. The dial is original and in mint condition. Multiple strap options are available.

Essay:  Launched in 1950 remained in production until 1958,  The Patek Philippe reference 2457 was released to replace the iconic reference 96 Center Second hand model.  . The reference retained the same case shape and proportions as its predecessor and was made in stainless steel, platinum, pink and white gold as well as yellow gold such as the current watch. The caliber was a 27 SC with center seconds housed in a Gerlach made case and silvered Stern Freres dial. To date, circa 55 examples in yellow gold have been known to the market.
