The watch is made in 18K yellow gold, and measures 31 x 40.5 mm with a silvered white dial with applied raised lapped gold indices. The watch is fitted with a 10-200" caliber 18-jewel movement # 740255, Case # 677205. The watch was made in 1953 and is accompanied with an extract certificate from the archives confirming its date of manufacture and further sale October 16 1953. The watch is further accompanied with an Patek Philippe 18K gold buckle and strap. The watch is triple signed, Dial, Movement and Case. The case was made by Staffelbach & Rotach with the stamp 15.

Essay: The 2493 was manufactured for only 5 years, and produced between 1951 and 1956. There are only 16 known in yellow gold and 3 in rose gold.
Condition: This watch is truly rare and in excellent condition. The stepped bezel and case show slight ware with a few scratches. The dial has been re-printed its is silvered with the condition en excellent condition.
